    head rebuild cost?

I have a head with a broken rocker. I just want to take it somewhere to be inspeceted and fix it anything is wrong. I have new seals that came with the head gasket set. And im hoping they will put them in. About how will this cost you think?

If you just have them replace the rocker, replace the valve stem seals, and do a leak check, probably less than $200. If you have them do more then it will cost more.

200-300 at the bare minimum before doing anything else. I would look for recommendations on local shops that know bmw heads and call them for estimates.

I had m10 head taken apart, resurfaced and re-assembled with new guides only and it was about $350 total. This was as simple as it gets and gets expensive quick ;)
