    Overheat after accident

I was in an accident about a 2 months ago. and now its time to drive to car to the body shop..
    All the hoses are good.
Drained the Coolant and put new coolant..

My Fan clutch is bent. but still works.
BUT my radiator fan was hit, and dosent seem to turn on when the car starts to reach high temperatures....

???? Do i have to completely replace this? or should i pull it out/check it/ and put it back and give it a second chance?

If you replaced the coolant, did you bleed the system? Your car should not need the electric fan without the A/C on.

well the most i did. was let the system drain out... Then put the new coolant..
the car has been sitting since the accident. and only been turned on a couple of times..

But before he accident. ran perfectly

            no one?

the only thing i can think off is the fan clutch being wobbaly. and maybe something wrong with the thermostat?

You need to bleed the cooling system, I didn't say it for no reason.

Open the coolant res. Let the car run and add coolant or water. And invest in AAA , I have broke down tomany times in the past . For 93 bux I get 4 100 tows in one year. I have yet for the eta to leave me on the side of the road ( fingers croosed )

so it was just air pockets in the cooling system. great! Is your car going to make it to dockweiler meet in 2 weeks?

it wont hurt the car. Just get it running good and add coolant to it. the coolant is 50/50 (green kind )
