high idle

    high idle

    my 86 325e idles at around 1200-1300 when in park. but when i put it in drive it goes down to the normal 750.


    what could be the culprit?

          On this car, add the Idle Control Module to iwantspeed's list or suspects.
          The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

                  its a little computer that contols idle in pre-Motronic 1.3 e30s. It sits to the left of the DME, and if I'm pretty sure it's green :D
