    Blah this is annoying me.....

    Ok here we go....

Now lets start with this.... When i changed the starter a while back i cracked the intake mani.... and well thats being changed next week... when changing the starter was done the spark plugs (after a bit of driving) fouled out... changed those....

-To start off my car (at start up when cold) sounds as if it want's to die.... shaking the car and what not....
-When still a bit cold i begin to drive her, i press the gas in a bit and the car hesitates like a mother such as it where to die, after that catches it self and zooms off..... Then will do it again when i pull to a stop, push the clutch, stop, put it in gear and try to drive away..... it will do this till completely warmed up....
-When warmed up the car seems to hesitate a bit at launch but will catch it self quickly (unless i slip the clutch a bit then its a smooth launch) dunno maybe its my noob driving....
-At idle the car has a rough idle, such as it had some sort of a sport cam in it....
-when cruising down the road, (lets say in 4th) the engine seems to make a noise as if i can hear every individual injector spraying... like a spouter (dunno how to spell that)

What i'm wondering is that would changing my intake mani, distributer cap, and rotor fix all of these problems....

soooooo HELP ME! any info would rock....

-Thanks guys and sorry in advance is my descriptions of things are a bit weird.....

First things to check are the basics: vacuum leaks, fuel filter and air filter. I'd be willing to bet you have a nice big vacuum leak somewhere that's throwing off your AFRs and causing the fouling but I've also seen similar misbehaviors associated with a plugged fuel filter. The air filter is just good to check.

If it were my car? I'd do all of the above as well as the cap, rotor and coil. Running a can of Jectron fuel injector cleaner through a tank can help things too but the fuel filter really is your first line of defense.

      True... Thanks!

Yea my fuel filter is bran new like i mean maybe 3 months on her..... and i did the fuel treatment....

I would love to swap the cap/rotor/coil but I is broke as college student so i really don't have the money for all that.... im saving up for them don't get me wrong though....

What's funny though is that my gas mileage is the same as usual.... going through a tank in usually a week and half/ two weeks.... dunno man!

Check for vacuum leaks then, you may have knocked something loose changing your starter or something might just have given up the ghost. What year is your car?

well, i am too experiencing these sammme problems, yet i could not find any intake leaks!! im still in the process of fixing this, and so far what i've found is that the tps is bad on my car...i believe this is the problem for mine and i share the exact same problems as you! i even installed a brand new afm and i tested my icv and they both work!

Your not being able to find any intake leaks doesn't mean that there aren't any. Have a shop run a smoke test. It will find any intake leaks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Found the problem...... was an injector plug that wasn't seated right....... GHEY! but now i still get that little popping noise while cruising..... would it be that the valves are too tight?
