Will an M20 fit on an M10 subframe?

So I have almost everything to start my M10 to M20 swap and I noticed on realoem that the early 318i front subframe has a different p/n than all other E30s. Do I need to replace the subframe or is my existing one OK?

Different PN because m10 subframe has a mounting point for a little shock absorber on the passenger side of the engine.

Ah yes, the little vibration dampener I deleted years ago. Thanks Jean.

Yes it will fit, If you have a carb m10, then the wireing loom going through the bulkhead will be your problem.
