question does anyone know about a relocation kit for the m20 bc i want to do one and a new cooler kit let me know bc ive been looking forever and i just want to get some ideas before i do one thanks
http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/ has a variety of oil filter adapters and oil coolers. You'll need to use a modified OE oil filter/cooler adapter and come up with something that takes the place of the filter. To use the cooler lines, it will be necessary to disable the thermostatic valve in the adapter so that oil flows through the cooler full time. Seems like a lot of work and a not insignificant amount of money for zero gain to me.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

ok great the only reason i want to move it is my headers are a little too close to the filter as well im going turbo and want easy oil changes lol i keep burning my arm anyho im also wanting at the same time to do a nice new oil cooler and i also need to move it but if worse comes to worse i think that i will just do an oil cooler where do the lines come out of the m20 im thinking on the drivers side but not sure since i havent had my car for 4 weeks and would i beable to put fittings and stainless lines and a new cooler as well an oil tem or pressure gauge? thanks again
haha i know im a big txter so sometimes thats how i write ok good when i get the beast back i will take a look at her and see what i can do thanks again
Avoiding burns from the exhaust when changing the filter is pretty easy, just allow the engine to cool down for 30 minutes to an hour with the hood open.

To convert the thermostat in the oil filter adapter so that the oil cooler is always used, move the spring to the other side of the thermostat. This works fine on a race car, as most events occur during warmer weather. Doing so in a street car that is driven year round in colder climates is not a good idea.
