ok i've searched around and not found any info on my exact problem. it's happened before twice but has went away both times in less than 30 minutes.
heres some the deal: the problem comes up only when theres snow on the ground and it's slushy. out of nowhere the motor will develop a miss and it runs like shit, doing the herky jerk under load.
here's the kicker: at exactly 2k, the miss goes away 100% and it goes back to running perfect (relatively lol). so today, i let the car sit and 3 hours later the problem seems to go away until i get though about 3 stop signs, then it comes right back. now it's coming and going but still doing the exact same thing.
tomorrow i'll be pulling the plugs and using a node light to test all my injector signals. i'm also gonna check my fuel pump and all the components to my ignition. i originally thought that possibly there was an exposed wire or sensor that was getting wet and the problem was going away when it dried out. i'm still going to check this out but i think it might be something else. on another note, i have an exposed k&n cone filter that could have possible sucked up some water. can that affect my afm? i've checked to see if the barn door was moving freeley and it was.
any advice on what else to check or what the issue could be would be greatly appreciated. thanks
