Am I missing something or are you missing a nut on the bonding strap from the solenoid to the starter motor?
Whats wrong with this picture?

what you did to this car is like getting a supermodel naked and willing to do anything you please. now here you are faced with ths once in a lifetime opportunity and then you squander it by making her fuck you in the butt with a 24" strap on. you are a sad, silly little boy. -

Well now it doesn't do anything at all. I turn the key and all i hear is the fuel pump and the cold start valve i think. Main relays and fuses are all good. Any ideas guys? I may throw the old starter back in because at least that one would work most of the time.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment

So it turns out the original starter was just very worn out. The bearing was soo worn that when the gear would extend to meet the flywheel it could move from side to side. Don't know why the other starter dident work though but I put a rebuilt Bosch in and it works great now.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment
