Weird Fuel cut that happend today,

    Hey,

so i haven't driven my car at all in the last 5 or 4 months really that much. today i took it for a little rip because i was running low on Fuel. My Fuel light was on, but keep on mind that i was only about 2 or 3 minutes away from the gas station when that happend. i had a liitle bit of space so i tried to open it up on the highway, i went wot and had a really bad fuel cut at around 3500-4000RPMS don't remeber exactly....

could that be related to running low on Fuel Aka "fuel light was on" or maybe ignition wires or somthing else.

car is running really rich and on a tune from 7 years ago.

I have Hot Nology wires, Cone filter( i hate it)....other than that its stock, i think.

    what do you guys think?

I am running 96 Premuim fuel.
    thanks

I don't think that was a fuel cut out. I have noticed that once or twice when the car is really cold, and it's been raining and humid for days.

could that be related to the shitty aircone setup i have ?

i was actually about to put the stock airbox back on there, but saw the Kamotors one and bought it....

Trying to get that extra Hp outta the good ol M20 eh

          oh snap......

nope not at all. it was not even bolted up. i take the battery out because since i parked it for the winter i usually just start it up on saturdays or sundays for 10 or 15minutes then have the battery out in the trunk...

i also have a small battery so and was taking a turn winding down the road when that happend....i could see it related to that for sure.

i think you might get fuel starvation at the pump if the fuel lights on and youre flooring it.

could be related. because when i drove it home after i put some fuel in it, it was smooth as butter.

i will report back and see if this happens again, hopefully NOT :S

It could certainly be fuel starvation, I've had it happen going uphill even before the light is on steady on a flat road several times.
