Another hard to start when warm thread

I have had a hot starting problem with my 1989 325is since the day I got it. Basically car will flood itself sometimes if you don't hold the starter on long enough when warm starting.

The problem persisted after swapping from a dinan chip with stock afm and injectors to a MarkD, 19lb injectors and 027 AFM (I know I am getting rid of it ASAP).

My O2 sensor is new. However the car has a loud ass custom exhaust and the O2 bung is up on one runner of the header down pipe before they merge into one. I don't know what effect this could have but I know it isn't really right.

Just changed Coolant temp sensors yesterday and haven't driven it much yet but I will have to see how it works out.

Also the car is definitely operating with some degree of vacuum leaks as it idle hunts pretty bad for the first couple minutes after starting cold, haven't had it smoke checked yet but there must be a bunch of small leaks because I can't find anything very large on its own.

One other annoying thing I haven't been able to pin point is why a sudden on/off blip of the throttle at idle will make the revs dip and the engine almost die, I checked the TPS as it seemed to be the obvious reason and it is working and adjusted properly.

    Anybody have any ideas?

All of the symptoms could be the result of intake leaks. Have the smoke test run.

And fix the O2 sensor, with it only seeing one bank the results will be skewed and will cause strange adaptation by the DME.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
