anyone ever use VW VR6 2.8 liter 4-pintle injectors?

I sangged a set of these off of a 93 passat sitting next to an E30 at my local pick n pull, has anyone ever used these or know how they flow, etc?

    thanks!

I had a set of 4 pintle vr6 injectors in my ix years ago and it was nice and they worked fine. I can't remember exactly what ones they were though, that was like 15 years ago...
edit: you can search the model number for the flow rate if they are bosch.. Ill try to find the link...

my stock injectors are old and cranky at 234k miles -- time for a refresh and replace methinks!

          220cc 21lb apparently

would I be better off with the 19lb injectors from a modular?

            19.5lb

I would go with 17.5lbs from an m50 on an otherwise stock engine.

yeah, I know. coming up from 14.5lb @90% duty cycle is quite a bit but I think the 173 should be able to move the map a little bit and hopefully it won't run too poorly since these were run on 2.8 liter 6ers.

oh, and I don't have M50 injectors laying around or I would :)
