What do 19lbs do over the stock 17s?

19 lb is a flowrate. I believe the proper units are lbs/hr. I have 17 lb, which is whats recommended for my particular chip. 19 lb injectors can be used but will likely run a bit rich/waste fuel

Stock M20 injectors are 15.24 pph according to the ones I just got flowbenched.

              stock m20b25 is rated at 14.5 #/hr

              m50/s50 is 17 #/hr

              Many Ford/mustang injectors including 19 and 24

              m52/s52 is 21.5 #/hr

I have a 2.7i swap with 19# injectors and a mark d chip. Not sure if it's to rich, doesn't smell, no meter, runs well IMO.

You NEED a chip (or other kind of tuning/ecu change) if you want to use differant injectors. That is the only way the car will run right.

Anyone who tells you differant is wrong, invite them to provide a dyno with AFR.

19lbs on an otherwist stock car will run really rich, about 10.5AFR. Runs good on e85, thats about it. Significantly down on power from being so rich.
