I appreciate it very much. I will do as you suggest and see whats up. I do suspect the fuel pump, or pre pump, as my fuel gauge is acting quirky.

I will though do an ignition tune up asap and set the valve lash. See what effect that might have.

Have you checked your exaust gaskets from the headers to the block? i think you just have an exhaust leak somewere. Gettin horrible gas mileage also?

Yeah...gas mileage is sucking as well.
