    Hesitation under load

I have an 87 325i with the miller afs conversion and 19lb injectors. I have been noticing latlely that the car is starting to hesitate slightly under load. I wasn't sure if it was just my imagination so today on the way to work I wound out third gear to check. The car hesitated pretty bad, the power came in and out, the harder I accelerated the worse it got. There were no misfires or any thing like that, the power literally came on and off. Under light acceleration I can feel it slightly but it's not very noticable. I'm thinking it may be the fuel pump but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Have you tried re-installing the original airflow meter yet?

I don't have it, the miller cane with the car. I could borrow my friends but that would mean swaping the chip and injectors also. I'm gonna start with the fuel filter

A problem with fuel delivery should become progressively worse as engine rpm increases. The on again, off again, hesitation you describe sounds more like a problem with air metering.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
