    rotating oil filter location

Is there an explanation or DIY guide already?

I'm talking about a mod a lot of racers do. It rotates the oil filter from under the headers pointing backwards, to pointing forwards towards the radiator.

-disconnect cooler lines (keep a pan underneath for oil to drain from the lines)
-loosen bolt holding filter adapter on (no need to remove it completely)
    -rotate 180deg
    -tighten filter adapter bolt
-reconnect cooler lines (they will only hook back up one way due to the length/stiffness of the old lines)

It's not a bad idea to get a seal kit for that housing and do that if yours is a little leaky as they tend to get.

      More omaha e30s! :)
