Nasty hole in my fuel map??

    haha kidding aside,
What would cause "flat" spots in my RPM range?
Recently I have noticed that in the exact same spot (roughly 2900 RPM), my car seems to studder. Just momentarily, but ive noticed it in the same spot, no matter what gear im in, or how much gas im giving it, with the car warmed up or cold. The best way I can describe what the car feels like when it does it, is similar to when your driving into the wind, and hit by a large gust.

I remember back when I had a sport bike, the manual said to vary the RPM's during break in, as to not cause a permanent flat spot.

Is this even possible? What could this be?

Bone stock internals, miller maf+chip conversion, K&n filter, 17.5 green top injectors. New fuel pump, filter.

That sounds most like a problem with air metering. Revert to a known good stock AFM and chip and see how it behaves.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
