CEL coming on randomly

hey guy, the check engine light keeps coming on and turning off at random intervals. i bought some random custom fabbed exhaust of local CL, but it had the early model o2 bung way down there so i spliced the o2 sensor cable but i took it off a week later. It sounded like shit so i took the excess wiring out again and now from time to time when i hit a bump or something in the road the CEL comes on. but i don't lose power or anything like that do you guys think loose wire could cause that ??? and yes i made sure to wire it correctly

Could be the O2 sensor, but it could just as easily be something else. Pull the stored fault code(s) and see what they point to.

got it fixed. i went back out to check it out and somehow my o2 sensor worked its way loose "facepalm"
