I just finished swapping my shitty m20 for another eta m20 that was pulled from a complete perfect working e30. Now here is the problem:
I cannot get more than .04 on the volt meter on the fuel pump, when I turn the key on. There is also no more that .04 on the #11 fuse(fuel pump)
I am also not getting any spark when I have my friend turn the engine over and I stick a screw driver in the plug end. I have two ECUs too, and same thing with both.
My question is does the pump and spark run off of the same wire? and why is it that EVERY fuse but the pump is getting juice. I have gone over my harness for 3 hours and had everything hooked up.
I am lost and pissed at the same time. Anyone run into this before? or know why I am not getting juice to the pump? I know there is a relay on the engine bay, middle one of the three. I did not swap that out yet but I thought it to be fine since the car was in perfect shape.
Not kidding, one key and she purred. Reason for the swap was the good engine's body was shit rusted.
Thanks for any info
