almost everything in my cooling system in new. my cars temp gauge still reads 3/4 tick mark some times, and other times just a sliver past the the center mark. however if i tap the glass of the instrument cluster i can get the needle of the temp gauge to jump around a bit. one time it was reading 3/4 and i taped the glass hard and it jumped back to the half way mark. has any one experienced this? my thought is the temp gauge isn't working correctly. im getting body work done on it right now, and i think that i will have the shop use a thermometer on it to get an accurate reading. i suspect it will be fine but i don't know. just wanted to see if any one has experienced this or anything like it?
