Car won't start!!! timing belt change!

what happend? my car will not start. it turns over and spins freely, i replaced the water pump, tensioner, timing belt. I checked my alignment of camshaft to crankshaft with the 4 rotation test on the crank/cam. everything checked out.

Mass air flow sensor is plugged in.... what am i missing?

did you reconect crank position sensor to correct plug ?
the one next to it looks just like it and fits too., so you may have them crossed up.

Try that, you know, above alternator/below intake manifold area, next to oil pid stick.

what year eng ? if later make sure the crank position senor is in place/location next to crank dampener. and make sure you didn't swap the plugs on top of engine ... air flow meter and CPS, plug wires on ? did you knock the coil wire off the top of coil ? just go back over one thing at a time. this sounds like something I've done or am sure I will do. haha, you guys crack me up! :)

i gave up for the night...trying to get as much info as i can to attack it nice and refreshed in the morning.

its an 89 I motor. I did not unhook the crank sensor at the top, only at the bottom and swung it out of the way. I did in fact reinstall the crank sensor with the allen bolt (i still feel this is the problem) I did notice that the crank sensor had a cut in the insulation, i wrapped it with electrical tape and assumed it would be OK but i am starting to think it is not. Can i check resistance on the wire? do you guys have a part number?

aside from that, nothing has changed, i reinstalled the working cap and rotor (did not over tighten either). I never unplugged any plug wires and the coil is plugged in (checked it).

I tried the carb cleaner in the ICV hose for spark and i had nothing so obviously it is a no spark and i am assuming no fuel condition (crank sensor?)

alright guys... im gonna watch the rest of the hawks/sharks game... Give me some ideas...

also the car ran when i parked it two weeks ago to do the timing belt.
