2.5-12, you're a fucking retard. If you don't have time to change the belt and it doesn't look bad, drive it and hope for the best but don't waste our time with your retarded emo threads. Change a motor in 4 hours but you can't do a timing belt? Right. Fuck off you lint-sucking necrophile, you are more full of shit then a Taco Bell commode. Buy a Bentley manual and ACTUALLY READ it and just change the fucking thing. Seriously kid, it's not that hard...

        thanks!

I have the FSM, I have done my E30s belts a few times. I can change a motor in 4 hours (as long as we're talking the same type of M20) I can change a timing belt and have and never claimed I couldnt, just dont have time this work month.

you fit right in on the R3V, this is the most hostile form on the net and it's interesting because of that -- I certainly don't take offense because you can't express yourself correctly.

also glad you, like most of the other posters didn't bother to understand the question in the OP.

Dude, the 2 pics I posted are of a 10 year old belt with 67,000 miles on it when it failed. Isn't that exactly the info you wanted??

          No real signs of cracking...

your pics didnt show up for me, I was thinking there was something wrong there.

            direct link?

also, yeah - I've gotten a few useful replies in here so whats going to happen in the next month will happen and I'll just hope for the best.

its all good if you don't have a direct link, It wont change the fact I cant get to it soon anyway.

pretty much any other posts will be completely useless at this point. on this site anyway, I'm off to e30tech.

Sure. Pull the motor and I'm all over it.

If I had the time I would, but I barely have enough time to get my cabrio buttoned up for the show.

That belt looks just fine. Run it.
Of course, it does look a little ratty. I would replace it.
However, it might be alright to run. Wait, on second guess, I would say to replace it.
