    Fuel smell....

Fuel pump is making a hell of a 'wine' as well as the vehicle having a rough idle. It's been a month or so where the fuel pump noise has been intermittent but the last week it's been fairly constant I plan to replace it before my trip to see my brothers grad some 8 hours away, but for some reason I am also smelling fuel these last few days. It's most prevalent on the drivers side of the engine bay when the hood is open/car running I don't see any dribbles or wetness anywhere under the hood or under the vehicle so I have no idea where it's coming from.... Any thoughts?

Check the soft fuel lines, rail to injector connections, and FPR. If you can smell fuel in the engine bay you are probably perilously close to an engine bay fire. Don't drive the car until the source is found and fixed.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
