    87i into 86es

o, i'm pretty much done swapping, but its time to wire. I already have the wires cut for the c104. also took care of pin 20.

    I need to figure out:
    1) starter wiring
    2) where this connector goes (picture coming)
    3) I know something else, but i forget (update coming)

    I have:
    Motor: 87 i
    ECU: 525 (173)
    Harness: 90/91 ic
    Tranny: 86 eta
    Flywheel/starter:86 eta
    ICV: "T" shaped
    AFM: 027

If you use an 87 i/is harness it will be plug and play

im doing the same swap. but i have an issue.

the connector that stands near the fusebox in the engine (round style, i dont know the name of this) has been cut off of the harness to be used for someone else.

i have a later style "i" harness that has this plug but i dont know if the pin locations and wire color codes are the same, im afraid to chop it up.

i have a 173 ecu that came with the later harness.. not sure if this poses a problem because the 87i ecu never came with the swap either.

also curious if i can run my eta radiator and expansion tank. and retain the exterior style fuel pump.

shed any light on my issues? i want this to go in with as much ease as possible, or any other "heads up" i may need.
