1222 Code, Loss of Power, Now Fine

It wouldn't give me any power above 3k rpm or so and below that it was sorta jerky like it wasn't getting the necessary amount of fuel. I turned around and came right back home and half way up my hill it stopped having problems and is now fine. I checked the codes with the stomp test and got 1222. I took it out for a little drive any it seems perfectly fine now. WOT through 1st and 2nd was fine too.

Is this something I should be worried about? I'm planning on pulling the engine/exhaust/all fuel related systems in a few months so I don't want to spend any money on it.

1222 is an idication of a serious up set in the A/F ratio. The most common causes are intake leaks. A smoke test of the intake will till if that is the cause of this code.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
