I am good to be wiring up my electric fan today, i will be using an adjustable thermostat, and was wondering what is the good 12 v line to use under the hood as the power source?

Was not sure if the stock wiring was good enough for the 2200 cfm fan, also I am using a custom temp probe instead of using the radiator auxiliary switch.Comment

Why don't you just run a dedicated line? There's a power distribution junction on the firewall.Comment

my only fear of running a line of firewall is killing the battery if it is very hot out and engine is off but the fan still kicks on due to the tempComment
