so your m20 has a gaping hole...what DO you do???

so about a month ago i decided that i needed to snag a new tranny to replace my ailing cat-ridden, howling one. found one on CL los angeles and ended up getting more than i bargained for...the owner was running late and literally hoisted the whole block+tranny out of his cabrio and into my truck. took it apart later that night only to realize the block was shot and the linkages were wrong.

    i can see the light!!

so then i removed the clutch components, crank and pistons...most of the stuff looks pretty clean and is for sale here! http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=180388

i've got some awesome business card/cell phone holders! i'm getting them sandblasted right now, so if anyone wants to grab one, $25 ea or $30.70 shipped!

now the block is ready to be sandblasted! it's at A1 blasting in el segundo for pickup tomorrow! all i need are some bumpers and a table top at this point...

I have 2 m20 blocks and I plan on turning one into a coffee table with a lexan top. should be sweet.

interested to see it if you make a actual table.

grrrrr i've been trying to figure out exactly what i'm gonna do w/the pistons...can you better explain those coasters? i can't see how to make them without destroying the fact that they're pistons
