    2 questions please...

    ok here are my 2 requests:

    1. my old intake boot have this opening for the brake booster vaccum line (red circle) vs the new boot i just bought (yellow circle) that doesnt have the opening



    my quetion is can i jumper the two pieces of hose eliminating the Y shaped plastic from the system?



    2. what is the correct way to align the bushing in the braket? first or second pic?

      align the bushing in the first pic. You need to have the brake booster vaccum line for fresh air to get in if you do not have the right boot you can go to the parts store and pick up a little air filter that you use on V8 Oil air inlet on the covers

            Sounds like that would create a vacuum leak.

            +1 Just return it and get the right boot. There are a couple different versions.
