    Valve margins and spring stiffness

So I had a 3 angle regrind done on the valves from a used cylinder head I purchased, and they are a few thousandths of a inch under the margin specified by BMW. Should this be OK? Does BMW build in some factor of safety with their minimum spec, or do I need to get another set of valves?

Also, I've read that BMW does not spec what the spring stiffness should be. Can anyone tell me from experience if 60lb is adequate?

    Edit: Head is 885
