Bosch o2 13942

got a 3 wire Bosch 13942 to replace for my monotronic 1.3 and still getting the same crappy 7.1 mpg on my OBD. Bosch has the 3 wire, my o2 has the 4 wire (grey being the 4th). I paired up the 2 whites and 1 black, do i have to ground the grey?

Throw that thing away and get the O2 sensor that supposed to be installed. Yeah it is a bit more expensive than a generic, but it will work.
