Oil block O-ring question

#4 is a 20.0x3 O-ring. The one I took off looked like a square profile possibly machine cut O-ring similar to the caliper seals.
My question is can I use a standard O-ring for this with the round profile without adverse effects?

Yes. From memory a new OE o-ring is round and flattens in service.
