New to the m20b27 and bmw, need some help

Hey guys, I just sold my 800hp evo 8 not to long ago and picked up my most fav body style car the e30. I got a 1985 325e 5 speed e30 with a great body to build it. I wanted to keep the original motor i guess its the m20b27 which i would like to rebuild and boost it. The more i read about different swaps or different stuff about these motors the more i get confused lol. I would like to know what parts would i need to go with building this motor for boost. What i understand from this motor that it has a not so good flowing head and intake. Can some one lead me to the right path what i would have to get and parts to make a solid 400hp motor.
    Thanks

Very basically, you want a solid motor that will last you, then you'll need...

    bottom end:

    forged pistons
    h-beam rods
    arp rod bolts
    12.9 or arp main studs
    block o-rings

    top end:
    *885 "i" head from a b25
    hotter cam
    arp head studs

*along with the head swap youll want to do an "e" to "i" engine management conversion (motronic 1.0 to motronic 1.3 harness) and run some sort of programmable engine management system that isn't motronic.

Shameless Plug :) after that you'll need a turbo kit, DIY, ebay, or from one of the few e30 turbo peoples. You can buy one of mine, or I can make you a custom one tailored to your needs. I can include pistons, rods and everything else as a kit, you just assemble or have your machine shop assemble it.

    or

I have a blueprinted turbo m20b25 crate motor for sale for 5000 (about 6700 put into it, its been broken in on the street and has made a few dyno pulls), it makes 300whp on 91, but it was built for 450 wheel. We just haven't turned up the boost because the customer was satisfied with 300. He's parting his car out though, which is the reason for the sale. Comes turn-key, just drop in and go. PM for details.

Many options...I like building m20s for fun as a hobby. PM me if you like more detailed info, or are interested in anything I have for sale.
