    Valve adjustment.

I think I'm doing this pretty well but it is my first time so just want to verify. Theres decent drag on the .010" (.254mm) feeler but i can still slide the .012" (.305mm) gauge between the eccentric and valve and it is pretty damn tight. Is this what I'm shooting for?

And for those who wanna bitch, I DID read the pelican tech article.

I may be wrong here, but I've always adjusted mine to where the .010 drags pretty hard and then the .012 will not fit.
Me: "I can't wait to redline my car!"
Mark: "Didn't you just break a rocker arm?"
Me: "Yeah, I don't think I've learned my lesson."
      Mark: "You never will."

It was a lot quieter than how it was earlier - granted it really did need the adjustment. However, it is still somewhat noisy when it warms up. I think it's because everything has expanded just that little bit, granting more clearance between lash and stem.

Shaler's Rislone will also help with valve noise.
