    Help...Car wont run.

Hi, I'm kinda new to this forum and I just bought an alpine white e30 last sat. It drove fine when I picked it up. Then after 3 days, it just started to run like crap. Then it died, now it wont run. (1989 325i - M20 engine - M/T)

    Heres what I know:
    • Spark is ok on all cylinders ive tested them already, but it seems that there is no fuel going in the cylinders. (I dont smell gas when I pull the plugs out)
    • I checked the main fuel relay and i can hear the pump running.
    • I also removed the line going into the fuel rail and manually ran the pump and fuel seems to flow from the line.
    • I also checked the electrical wiring from the injectors and there's a signal of approx 5v from the connector.
    • I checked the injectors using the manual and the resistance reading is Ok.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

If I get fuel along the rail doesn't that mean the fuel filter is oK? where is the filter located?

Have you tried to start it with starter fluid? Just a sprits into your intake. Not much. I'm currently having the same issue, most likely a vacuum leak. Check your hoses. Also when you have the car on try NOT cranking it and pump the shit out of the gas pedal, then crank it. I've had this work several times lol.

Thanks for all your input. Ive finally found the problem. The Connector for the Injectors was the culprit. I believe this is C191 plug on the manual. The terminals was corroded and it wasn't sending signals to open the injectors.
