    Now wtf. New oil leak

Hey i just swapped a manual trans into my auto m20b20. And as i was tightening the gearbox mounts i noticed i am leaking engine oil from the bell housing. on the bottom of the gearbox. Nothing was leaking before when i did up the flywheel or clutch. Pilot bearing was fully seated. gearbox went in fine needed to give it a bit of a love tap with a dead blow hammer to get it to seat fully and got it to about 4mm off then did the rest with the threads. While it was leaking the engine was tilted backwards with the gearbox pulling it down. Only thing i could think off was rear main seal or residual oil from somewere pooling at the back. It had a leak from the half moon rocker shaft seals and then engine has been sitting for 3 days. Any ideas?

Rear main seal or flywheel bolts.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Hrm, I can't remember if I did this when I did my clutch a few months ago.

Have you torqued all the bolts to spec? Not to sound like a dick or anything but you'd be amazed what happens when certain bolts are under torqued. Or too tight...Like one of my lug nuts...The fucker snapped...Had to put in a new wheel bearing...

It stopped by the next morning, But i pulled the flywheel bolts hit them with loctite 270 and re torqued. All good. Been driving for a full day and nothing leaking. And yes Dsobes snap torque wrench reckons torque/sequence is good :P. Rear main seal isn't leaking either checked that.
