    Distributor cap/rotor question

Do I need to replace the distributor cap and rotor every time remove both of them? Just wonder if this is necessary or more of just a recommendation.

Unless they are worn, or causing an issue, clean and reinstall. If they have never been replaced, it wouldnt hurt to do it while you are in there though.
