    325e will not stay running

    my es wont stay running.
325es will not stay running. things ive replaced (new)
    timing/ac/alt belts
    water pump
    tension-er
    rotor
    spark plugs
    wires (8mm)
    cap
    fuel/air filter
    coil
    fuel pump
    fpr (not new/works)
    19lb injectors 6
    main relay
    new thermostat
    head gasket
    torx bolts
the head was redone all new seals (victor rienz)
    battery
    slave cylinder
    brake booster
    idle control computer
this car had 160,000 i replaced a lot of suspension too. it is going to be my daily driver. every thing from the head gasket up has been replaced (seals).
the car starts strong, idles steady, when it warms up, after a 3-4minutes it starts to choke and dies, then it doesn't want to restart, i can let it sit 20min it'll start again. when i took it for a test drive it had noooo power ran like sh*t. all the vac lines are newish(1 year) doesn't seem to be leaking, i haven't done a leak down test though. the two crank position/flywheel sensors and the afm gives me proper readings.
the oil cap is relatively new and the dip stick seems tight.
the car ran fine before i replaced all the above listed parts. the afm,I literally took off put the new filter in, set it in the trunk, replaced everything, put it back in
    what about a clogged cat?
when i cleaned the block with the head off a little water may have went down the down pipe, i had my kid clean it, i told him not to get anything in there, but young people though(12). he wanted to help.
when i held a clean rag to the exhaust i had moister. not a lot but enough to make it worth mention.
i didnt replace any of the coolant sensors(which i think is it!) or the idle control valve.will a faulty one make the car die if it reads that it is to hot(fail safe maybe?)?
    any ideas?
    the help would be great!

those were replaced not due to finding what was wrong with it. it is going to be my daily driver, i haven't seen any e-30's broke down on the side of the road i dont want to be the first one i see. i travel a lot, that's why i replaced everything.
the car ran fine before no problems, i had time and $1000 to make a nice dd

"Will not stay running" is kinda vague.

How about some details instead of a grocery list?

Roll the dice. I'm gonna say CPS, but this is an e....so I think there are 2 that read off the back by the flywheel. It may or may not be that, but I mean there are only so many sensors in that engine bay.

                  No, I missed it, sorry.

Something tells me after CAREFULLY reading your description that you have an issue in fuel. Generally, electrical is more like a "go/no go" kind of thing versus fuel, which will sputter more and act weirder.

I am thinking the dice were a great call!

are the new 19# injectors low impedence, or generic ones that fit everything. If they are not the correct type for the "E" motor, you will have issues.

i figured it out, $8 coolant sensor for the dme, it was telling my car it was too hot to run.
                      thanks for the help though!
