yet another no start. With some fun this time ;)

Hey guys got this random start issue this is my little vent. Will start fine when cold. But when it is hot it will just crank. I leave it sit for a bit try a few more times. Leave it sit then try a few more then it will start. When it does start it slowly starts like sounds like when you prime an engine. Lately though it sounds as if its back firing on start up when hot. I'm thinking fpr or fuel pump relays are sticking when hot. Once its started runs perfect no codes etc. Also it was auto now is manual and i bridged the auto start wires. Any ideas? Just waiting for my road bike to arrive then this piece of shit m20 is getting turned into a table then its 1uz

Thinking fpr issue as i pulled the line of an there is a slight smell of fuel

fitted new afr/ relays, new intake boot, rocker cover gasket, breather line. Any ideas?

Well i cleaned the tps and got a new vacuum line to the fpr and the issue has gone away it still sputters a bit if i wot it then release so i think it is an issue with the tps but i have an sr20det to go in now so it doesnt bother me

I'm guessing you lave a leaky injector that is dribbling fuel in to your cylinders when hot. Hence the backfires and trouble starting. Rebuild your injectors or swap in new ones, I think that'll solve your problem.

its a m20b20 sohc 12v. It deserves all the shit talking it gets lol. Yeah im fitting a new tps and a new set of oem injectors while i rebuild the sr20
