    Identifying a 2.7 eta motor

I recently purchased a used 1992 325ic but didn't find out that it had been swapped for a 2.7 eta motor at some point in its life. After cursing the seller (who knew of this but didn't disclose) I realized this is a pretty nice little motor, especially for around town. It has an open 3.73 and looks like a recent installation done professionally.

Hopefully, you experienced M20 guys can help me figure out what I've got under the hood. Here is what I know:

    - Car has stock 325i tach with 6000 RPM redline.
    - Motor revs to 6000, which I don't do anymore.
    - Head casting has 2.7 ETA imprinted on it.
    - Looks stock at first, but I don't know what to look for to see if it's a Super eta, and if the ECU is a 325i unit, which I am assuming it is.

I know my way around an S14, but this M20 world is new and frightening to simple cavemen like me :)
