its actually very easy. just drain the coolant system. the drain plug is under headers or just losen the hose clamp on the bottom hose of radiator and let it drain. now disconnect sensors and hoses from radiator. it may pull right out now but u may have to pull the fan clutch b4 you take out radiator. see how it fits. that fan clutch is a 32mm reverse thread. kind of a bitch to break that nut. thermostat is in housing next to distributer. replace the gasket for thermostat is good idea. put it all back and use the bleader screw on thermostat housing to remove air.

rad and stat arent too hard even for a novice tbh. just dont try and take anything off with the engine hot lol

rad is very simple, couple hose clamps, the upper support thingy behind the hood and lift it out. as for the stat.. u will need to take part of the thermostat housing off the get that out but again not hard. after u have the new stat and radiator in, fill it up with the right mix of coolant/water and squeeze the hoses to help get out most of the air in the system and top up water as required. after that put the cap back on the coolant tank, start the engine and carefully crack open the bleed screw as the engines warming up untill just water/coolant is seeping out and no more air or bubbles.

as for the fan clutch.. thats a bit tricky without the specialist tool.. oil filter vice grips worked for me tho. i was able to get oil filter grips onto the fan pulley then get a wrench on the nut on the fan clutch to loosen it. if ur going to replace the belt on it too u could wrap the belt around the pulley tightly and try to get the clutch off that way.
