    HELP!! Strange problem!!

    Hey guys,

So i borrowed my car to my gf the other day and she kinda forgot not to let it idle cause the viscous coupling is buggered. So the result after 20min of idling it started pissing out coolant from the expansion tank. Luckily the head seems fine, no oil in the coolant or the other way around.

When i had refilled the engine with coolant and a quick bleed i drove home. I noticed that when u drive at 2500 - 3000revs and push the clutch in the revs stay there for a sec, then drops to 1500 and stay there between 5-20s.

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

I had the ecu disconnected over night to reset it, thought it might have been that it got a bit confused when it was overheating. That didn't help, but i noticed that it won't start doing it before the engine is warm.

The other thing i thought it could be is that the temp sensor broke when it overheated. I know that they shouldn't but i'm out of ideas.

Please help guys, its my daily driver so i kinda need it all the time....

    Cheers

Sounds like it might be a sticky ICV, perhaps accompanied by intake leaks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

The machine is rebuilt and all gaskets are new, im a hundred 100% sure that there are no intake leaks, could be a stick icv but i don't know why it would have started sticking after the overheating. I will have a look tonight. Any other ideas?
