having trouble with my super eta.

i recently swapped out the head on my super eta. put on an i head (kept it eta from the intake foward and still running the eta ecu) it sputters and doesnt want to go above an idle, i disconnect the afm and it will rev, but it sputters at higher rpms. before i replaced the head it was having overheating issues so im wondering if it could be a bad temp sensor. any thoughts?

you could try that. i believe the seta has a wiring harness that can suppose the 173 computer... try running that, and "i" injectors (i know, lifes a bitch) and see if that doesn't help your problem.
