hi i know you all are gonna bash noob or something lol , im a vw guy and just started a BMW project i got my friends 325e and im doing a m20b25 swap into it , i had a maf from a obd2 5 series and i was wondering if i can wire it into were the big air flow meter thing was :o

No since they produce different signals. Miller Performance sells kits, they also show a video of their tuned 325i blowing away a stock 325i and fail to acknowledge to the public that the differential ratios are not the same, which provides a much greater impact on acceleration than converting airflow meters will. A little bit of my opinion as well: I still believe that the percieved gains from a MAF conversion are from having a new part in place of an old part and having sharper throttle response which people mistake as more power.
