from e to I swap question????

As I'm going through this swap I noticed the flywheel and clutch on the e motor is about a 1/2 longer then the I assembly. Will this still work or do I need to get a I fork for the throwout bearing to meet up and engage. Is the I slave cylinder a longer throw and thats how that works? What is needed to make this mate??? Thanks

The best solution for this is to use the flywheel, clutch, etc., parts for a 325i.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      I always use a 533i throwout bearing, it's longer.

Does this include fork, slave cyl and throw-out bearing?

Glad to hear somebody is listening, haha. I just did an e to i conversion with a friend on his car and the 87 harness made it so easy. Plug and play.
