Finally got my E30 out of the shop ., now I've got a sputtering problem while driving it sounds like if it's running on 5cylinders. Can it be A lack of fuel/air ., or bad spark plugs / wires ? Ck engine light turns on. Let me know ... Any suggestions ??? 87/325is

It sounds like it is misfiring. A smoke test to check for intake leaks, new plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor, and fuel system tests would be a good place to start.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
