I would replace the tbelt and pulley. I had a car that ran horribly and while I was checking the tbelt (which had a ton of slop) the tensioner just broke off in my hand.

Yea i think i am going to do the tbelt again to be safe. But i turned the crank pulley via socket and everything 'seemed' fine. My PS belt and pump are pretty loose though. I let the car idle a min and it stayed steady even after not driving it for a week. I may get the pipes welded up til i get a replacement cat/downpipes

the flap works smoothly but it was a lil dirty. i cleaned my k&n panel..but um..i swiss cheesed a junkyard air box and then a couple years later i get a horrible power steering fluid leak that i believe somehow made it to those swiss cheese holes cuz my filter was nasty. its clean as a whistle now, and i put the stock box on. but the afm was not that dirty to make a difference.

          so far ive replaced:
          intake boot
          vc breather hose
intake mani to FPR vacuum line
          both high pressure fuel hoses
          cleaned air filter
reseated valve cover and tightened it down
          O2 sensor
          motor mounts
          tranny mounts
          cleaned icv
          spark plugs

i have a new ICV waiting to go in xmas day so that will test the dipping of the idle, but my current icv...the little valve inside spun freely. was as dirty as afm.

will be replacing distributor cap and rotor soon along with new ignition wires.

monday im going to go have a muffler shop weld my downpipe back together and see what other noises im hearing.

          clean e24 btw

Back to thermostats...any side effect of over cooling? After tbelt I neglected to bleed the system and she constantly runs at a third temp.
