How effective are headers on any engine? If they're "just" headers, a small improvement...If they're "tuned" headers, a little bigger (compared to small) improvement. Your question is just too wide open...

Geez, how about this? Are IE shorty headers effective on a 2.8 liter stroker?

What are you trying to acheive by adding headers? Low end or top end?

IE shorty headers are the cheap solution better than stock manifolds. True long headers are your left nut depending on how u look at it. I would do Shorty headers and custom piping as an intermediate solution till u get a deal on long equal length headers. This would mean hello low end....not the same for top end.

IE shorty headers are gonna be a vast improvement over the OEM manifold. although not as effective as a longer tuned header, i would certainly recommend them as a better for low& top end over a stock manifod. great bang for the buck

At least in California they are very effective at getting your car removed from the road and impounded at the time of your next smog inspection.

How bout Supersprint headers. How good are they? Yes, the longer ones.
