Im trying to talk my girlfriend into getting this e30. Its an eta which kind of sucks but I think there is some potential. It has a 3 inch cat back exhaust, and a bravarian performance chip. I have been reading up and it seems with the chip the car should have about 140hp and 190 torque. I have a spare m20 i engine that will be coming out of my car soon, and some 19lbs injectors . Is there a way I can utilize the chip, with my i top and the e bottom, or do I need to switch to the i ecu? My question is whats the most I can get out of just the parts I have, and does anyone have some number! I just want her first e30 to be a awesome.

I've been reading more and it seems like I could only make a budget stroker if I had the super eta. I just have the regular eta that comes in the 85 e30e.

The other cheap alternative, given the parts available, would be to swap in the M20B25 engine complete. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

hmmm I never thought of that but I guess that could work.
all though that 2.7 torque might make her excited... in the pants
