    smoke testing an m20

So a couple weeks ago I visited a friend who has a smoke machine & we did a smoke test, where are you supposed to pump the smoke in to? We did it where the FPR hose attaches to the intake manifold, & we didn't see any smoke. Did we do it right?

You can inject the smoke there, though using a throttle body adapter generally works better. Did you plug the exhaust and get the pressure up to at least 2psi?
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

We didn't do anything to the exhaust, and by pressure do you mean the output of the smoke machine? I'm not sure/

To fine leaks you have to fill and pressurize the intake and crankcase. If you use a throttle body adapter, that end is sealed. The exhaust has to be plugged before pressure can build in the intake and engine. The smoke machine should be able to build up the pressure to about two psi which will, with time, force the smoke to any and all leaks.
