Probably was the O2 sensor. The ECU tried to go to closed loop mode, relying on the O2 sensor which was probably bad.
Then the ECU substituted values for the bad 02 sensor and the car ran ok, but without O2 sensor response.

this is the same problem i have, i have spark to all cylinders right now, but it seems like it misfires hard.

I'll probably pick up a set of injectors for it and go from there.

I don't know if I should bother adding anything to my gas tank, its been wet around here for a while and this kinda happened out of no where.

The only difference for me is that the engine runs like trash hot or cold. It seems like his did before he replaced his injectors.

If you are running something from the gas tank

which is in general futile anyway in terms of dollars and cents

dont use a detergent like um stp or sea foam or most things

find the ones with pea, like redline fuel or chevron techron.

just for the record for future searches , if anyone wants to know, it wound up being low compression in my cylinder so I'm swapping it out with an m50

no electrical or injector problems everything was working fine
