ok guys i finally did my engine swap! the car is running perfect.. well almost lol i need help to make the rpm tach work, the 3 cables in the glovebox. help please!

Dude, down load the wiring schematics for the 2 years involved and look for the tach wire (one wire) that has to be spliced into the C101 I believe. That is pretty much it. Run that wire and you should be good to go. Best way I found was to print that crap out and grab a highlighter....and a beer.

The easiest solution to this is to scavenge the C104 connector from the old harness and graft it into the later harness. The wiring diagrams available at http://wedophones.com/BMWManualsLead.htm will be helpful.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
